"It wasn't Gold, it wasn't silver, it wasn't jewels. The first Church was Jesus, everything for Him" Now I know why I never liked "church buildings" with stained glass, large pillars, rich decorations, and statues. They are not the Church nor of the Church. The true Church is the collection of people who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives, even if it means they'll die.

Mostly of jews did not believe Christ even until now. They trait Christ as a Devil. So that, they are not able to appreciate and respect that place. But praise God God, we know him through ancient christians who hide that place in Roman Empire. This is the prayer of Paul of the Jews Romans 10:1 KJV Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Praise be to living God in Heaven indeed. This is absolutely amazing! The 12 Disciples, and the early Christians in Christ Jesus walked those stairs. My jaw was dropped, and I felt the Spirit of God while watching this video. I found it abominable that the Torah Jews would desecrate the early Christian Church, even when the Jews say it's for King David. What a great video. God Bless you RISE. #JesusSaves

You yourself seem to propagate the Protestant ideology... 1.you were saying at the begining "James the half brother of Jesus " which is false... no where you would find that in the bible just like that. It may say brother in the bible but the early Jew expression for it is any one which is a relative... for example any one who grows in the same house nevertheless he is your bloodbrother... or the son of your uncle... 2. At the end of the documentary you seem to underminded the physical aspect of the church and simply mentioned the the church is Jesus... well the devil who is making his followers throw their thrushes to the place knowes how sacred it is than you and I But other than these thank you for sharing !

Two Altars, Church and State--- Dominion over the minds of Man for several millennia. He who is coming has power and authority over them that neither will acknowledge. Their expectations have been wrong, their doctrines have been wrong, and their Interpretations have been wrong. No need to ask how much more the Lamb of Egypt is worth than a man.

Could very well be true. Remember that Kahal ( Church ) of YHVH, Yeshua and Ruach HaKodesh, Father, Son and Holy Spirit is glorious and always will be, even if people do not see the truth at first. It was an UPPER room in the temple that the Ruach fell in fullness on the disciples. Acts 1 & 2 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance. 5 Now there were Jews living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together, and were bewildered because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language. 7 They were amazed and astonished, saying, “Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the districts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them in our own tongues speaking of the mighty deeds of God.” 12 And they all continued in amazement and great perplexity, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 But others were mocking and saying, “They are full of sweet wine.” 14 But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words. 15 For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only the third hour of the day; 16 but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: 17 ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams; 18 Even on My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit And they shall prophesy. 19 ‘And I will grant wonders in the sky above And signs on the earth below, Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 ‘The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood, Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come. 21 ‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ 22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— 23 this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. 24 But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. 25 For David says of Him, ‘I saw the Lord always in my presence; For He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken. 26 ‘Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue exulted; Moreover my flesh also will live in hope; 27 Because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, Nor allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. 28 ‘You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’ 29 “Brethren, I may confidently say to you regarding the patriarch David that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 And so, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne, 31 he looked ahead and spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His flesh suffer decay. 32 This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. 34 For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, 35 Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’ 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified.” 37 Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?” 38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” 40 And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. 42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; 45 and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need. 46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. This was not done in a closet Be bold and love strong IN Yeshua Bless Israel and make the unbeliever jealous. +Stephan Terblanche Verse 46 Day by day continuing with one mind in the TEMPLE, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. Temple life was the place to be for the early church   Acts3  Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer. Whether Temple or house, it was glorious, with many being saved Romans 10: If you confess with your mouth Yeshua, Jesus as Lord ( God in the flesh ), and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Blessings

.....There was more than one person called "James" in the New Testament, and Acts 12:2 is a different James than the 1/2 brother of Jesus....The brother of Jesus appears in Acts 15 as head of the Jerusalem Church, but Paul implicates him in doctrinal error in the Book of Galatians....Galatians is thought to have been written around 55 AD, long after the meeting of Acts 15. That is a problem. That means the doctrinal error never was "fixed" and we can see Paul going off in one direction, and James and Peter going off in another. Indeed Peter was not ever mentioned again after Acts 15.....Paul wrote about 1/3 of the Bible and "withstood Peter to the face".....It DOES look like James and Peter held to the belief that Christianity was a REFORMED Judaism, whereas Paul taught...No...it was brand new and radically different....So that intertwined Menorah & fish would make total sense......The James & Peter way of thinking went off and formed Roman Catholicism which has scads and scads of problems today.....Paul's doctrine resurfaced with Martin Luther and lead to about 1.1 billion Protestants around the globe......Luther threw out the Book of James from canon, calling it "an epistle of straw"......Paul spent a lot of time escaping from Jews who were jailing and beating him, not the Romans..........See the Books of Acts.....
Lonnie Christopher (4 days ago)
+Stephan Terblanche ...I'm at least glad you are investigating...The schism was NOT fixed...Galatians chapter 2 describes that 1st council...then...THEN.... the confrontation happened with Peter in Antioch, the Book of Galatians itself written around 55 AD. The Council took place around 48- 49 AD....In Acts 15 has James presiding over the council but there is no tracking as to how he became "President"....He issues his "sentence" and those 4 things are STRANGE..."pollutions of idols"..."blood"..."fornication"...."things strangled"......They are not mentioned again in the Bible, with Paul even back- tracking on some of them in the Book of Corinthians......James also says more strange things..."Known unto God are all of His works from the beginning of the world"....Really ???...Harvard brilliance at work...That statement is so obvious as to defy all logic as to the reason to even say such a thing.....(It's difficult to fly with eagles when you live with turkeys)...and James is one of those turkeys......The Greek word for "turned"....("which from among the Gentiles are turned to God")...is "turning"....a process on- going...and indeed James follows up on that by saying that "Moses of old time hath them in every city"...in other words the Gentile Christians were just getting started in the Jewish indoctrination PROCESS and it would be completed as they would attend the synagogues and learn MOSES and the Law (Leviticus).......Paul thunders, "If righteous comes by the Law, then Christ is dead in vain" !!! (Galatians 2)....Who leads Peter into doctrinal error ???...Galatians 2:12..."For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles...."........................Luke wrote the Book of Acts and says in Acts 15 that they penned a letter saying, "It seemed good....".....That word "seemed" in the Greek is "dokeo" and is the same word as "supposed" when the disciples supposed they were seeing a ghost walking across the water....a WRONG OPINION HAD BEEN FORMED !!!....It was NOT a ghost, but Jesus Himself walking across the water.....It's also the same word as "think" when Jesus said, "THINK ye I am come to bring peace on Earth ???....I tell you nay, but rather division."......Again, WRONG OPINION....."dokeo"....opinion...that frequently is wrong based on INSUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE !!!....Like is on display in this comment section.......................Martin Luther saw how James could not let go of legalism, rules, regulations and the like, and threw out the whole Book of James forbidding it's use at Wittenberg....
Stephan Terblanche (4 days ago)
Are you blind? It was fixed at the first council in Jerusalem when Judas and Silas went to tell the heathen converts (v28): It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: you must abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.

Jesus must have been so thrilled when your specific sect arrived with the whole truth and nothing but the truth 500 years ago or even more recently? You have no idea how the Roman Catholic came into existence 1000 years later! Why do you gratefully accept the Bible from the very hands of the people you accuse of heresy?

It's Christians who claim that Yeshua was "God in the flesh" that keep Jews from reading the "New" Testament and believing in him. Paul, Peter, John the immerser, and Yeshua himself called him a MAN. NOWHERE does it say that he was/is God. Never allow the ambiguous to overshadow the obvious. 'There is one mediator between God and man, the MAN Yeshua the Messiah."

See you all at Missionsfest, for those in the Vancouver area. BTW, for those not familiar with Ron Wyatt's Findings, checkout Jonathan Gray's work at Beforeus.com, and wyattmuseum.com. Christianity is not based on myth or fiction, but on provable historical fact. For example, anyone ever wonder where Joseph of Arimathea made his money? He owned tin mines in CORNWALL. Also the stone that covered the tomb? It weighed 20 tons, was 13'x2",  and would have required 80-90 tons of brute force to break the seals and roll it away from the tomb entrance! Like I said check out the books!

Yacob brother of Yeshua ( lets stop using British names translated from the King James bible the ones I'm saying are the real names) referred to as James the just was thrown off one of the temple walls... this according to Tradition.. He tomb was a grand looking tomb in Jerusalem untill it wad destroyed...

The Holy Spirit inaugurated the church on the day of Pentecost in a house, in a building - not in a basement. There was essentially no Roman persecution at that time. Their human fear was of the Jews who had, under the Father's design, successfully conspired to have Jesus killed. It was a large place and there were about 120 people there in the room where they were sitting. This may have been a place where Christians later met. Thanks, B.

Jesus is God in human flesh, you are following the religion of a false prophet.
We need to be careful not to judge as if it is Jews that are soiling the place, it easily could be Muslims as well. I have seen the same style of soiling in traditional Jewish sites like the Kotel or Western Wall. Vandalisers could be on any side. Please do not fuel more christian hatred against the Jews. There has been more than 1700 yers of Christians persecuting Jews. Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Christian sites are protected by the government and Christians are safe.
Johan Strydom (9 days ago)
Saying that there has been more than 1700 years of Christians persecuting Jews is incorrect. That makes it sound like non stop persecution for 1700 years which is incorrect. Rather there were sporadic persecutions within that time frame but they were the exceptions not the norm.

This place has a very important historical value not just for Christians but for the whole world! It makes me wonder why Vatican or Israel are not doing anything to protect it and preserve it? Shame on both of them! This is a crime!

Jesus is the prophet of God, he never claimed to be the Father, he said instead "The father is great than I", so don't say that Jesus is God, but say Jesus is Gods prophet
Johan Strydom (9 days ago)
Jesus said He and the Father are one. Stop twisting Christian scripture and blaspheming Jesus. Try reading the entire gospels instead of takin a hand full of verses out of context.

You keep acting as if the Romans were the ones persecuting the Christians. Ignoring the Holy Bible and history. It's the Jews who were persecuting Jewish Christians! Do you think it's Romans there desecrating this church today, also? Try preaching Yeshua the Messiah in Jerusalem, even today!!  Bolshevik Jews, who created Communism, persecute Christians to this very day. Pay attention... Peace.

20190106 first "christian church" A. if/not likely, the structure was Ya'akov (James the Just/Less, aka Jacob, murdered, actual family brother and Disciple of Yeshua) first century Synagogue for Followers of the Way (i.e. followers of Yeshua) it certainly was NOT a "christian church." A1 gentile christianity came centuries later and was largely a result of the Torah apostate saul/paul (s/p) ministry that helped found gentile 'churches' for those that followed his 'lawless,' anti-Torah, manmade dogma. That when one compares actual Teachings of Christ (Yeshua) with similar/same topics covered by s/p, s/p's teachings contradict and are opposite to Teachings of Yeshua. A2 that synagogue headed by Jacob followed orthodox Judaism (detailed in Acts15:19-20, Gal 2:11-14 where it was specified new gentile converts to Judaism were to follow the same requirements the rest of the Hebrews did.) A3 centuries later "christianity" ignores ALL those Torah mandated rules and instead follows gentile pauline-dogma (e.g. observing pagan hollidays/festivals, worshiping on the 'lord's day/Sunday instead of the Shabbath (Ex20:8-11) of Judaism, even worshiping jesus, as a/if not THE, god -- part of their pagan fabricated 'trinity.' B. Mikveh, a first century bce immersion purification area was NOT for "baptism" it was a ritual water based immersion device to purify people before they entered the synagogue. C. what goes on in gentile "christian" churches was not/is not endorsed by Yeshua, and will NOT be allowed in the New Temple after it is reconstructed and Yeshua rules the planet from there. D. as mentioned in this video, this underground structure is a fabrication for the "tourists," it is not about Christ and certainly not about the one true G, the G of Abraham that Yeshua instructed his followers should worship (Shema Deut6:4-7, Malachi3:6, Mk12:29-31.) שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל אדני אֱלֹהֵינוּ אדני אֶחָֽד

The book of Acts was written by Luke, who was a follower of Paul and who also wrote the gospel according to Luke. Church history records date back all the way to the first century so your claim that "gentile Christianity Emme cent later is false. The apostle Paul spread the word of God among the gent in the five century AD and was excepted as an apostle by the original 12 disciples. Jesus is God incarnate and your Messianic Judaism is a bastard religion invented in the 20th century.

RISE thank you for sharing this! Only one small comment, you mentioned several times that the early Jerusalem Christians were hiding from Roman persecution. However, historians agree that the Roman persecution did not get underway until shortly before the destruction of the Temple. Prior to that, the persecution was primarily Jewish. Ananus ben Ananus (High Priest, AD 63) had James murdered by throwing him from the Temple. Secondly, a Zealot was declared by the High Priest to be the awaited military Messiah. Naturally, Christians refused to accept him. Christians were persecuted by Jews and prohibited from worshiping in the Temple and further excluded from the Jewish revolt against the Romans. Ironically this Jewish persecution and exclusion helped save many Christians before the Romans came back to Jerusalem to inflict punishment on the Jewish revolt and destroy the Temple. The first Jerusalem martyrs were killed by Jews, not Romans. I say this with no hint of anti-antisemitism, merely pointing out a historical sequence of events.
