How to get from Prague Airport to City Center

05:05
If you like my videos, click Subscribe. Note: Do not exchange or exchange very minimal amounts of money at the airport. The rates are horrible. Exit Terminal 1 ot Terminal 2 and find the bus stop. They are very easy to find. Purchase a 90 minute, 32 CZK (Czech Koruna) metro/bus/tram card. Find bus #119 and get on. Validate the ticket(s) only one time on the orange arrow side. This is really important. Take the bus 15 minutes to Metro Nadrazi Veleslavin. Follow the crowd down into the metro. Go down two different escalators. Take the metro on the right side after the escalator. Get off at your stop or Mustek for the city center. Watch out for pickpockets on the metro and trams. Best of luck to you. Day trip to Hallstatt AUSTRIA

From there we had about a 30 minute wait and then boarded the train which took about 40 minutes or so to Hallstatt. When the train drops you off, you must buy a ferry ticket at 2.5 Euro per person to cross the lake and get to Hallstatt. The boat takes approx. 10 minutes to cross. You can spend as little as one hour there or spend the night. It is up to you. I recommend to rent a small electric boat for 13-15 euro per 30 minutes and see the lake and the town on your own. There are several restaurants with fresh fish. I recommend the trout and a mixed dark and light beer. There are several viewpoints for great photos, just hike upwards. The salt mine was supposed to be awesome, but we had to skip it for time constraints. Very worth a visit if you can make it happen! $600 night Waldorf Astoria Hotel - Jerusalem

02:59
I've always wanted to see what staying at the Waldorf Astoria would be like and we finally decide to try a night in Jerusalem. The price of the room was $600/night. the first thing you notice when you walk in is the amazing perfume fragrance that permeates the entire hotel. They add it into the AC system I imagine because it smells amazing everywhere. The room itself was standard size but the bathroom was larger than most hotels. The bed was king size and the sheets were 500 thread, that's very comfortable for those of us not up to date on thread counts. The location is amazing, it's literally 3 minutes walk from Jaffa gate into the old city (nearest to the Armenian Quarter). Very simple to get there by public transport, simply take the tram to Air Force stop and walk 5 minutes. Of course if you will have luggage this will be a problem. All in all, amazing place to stay and I would certainly stay again! Derinkuyu Underground City - Ancient Mega City

08:17
Please visit my friends at Megalith Research https://goo.gl/qVknzP Derinkuyu is an ancient underground city located in Turkey. It is one of the largest underground cities in the world and much of it's history and use are shrouded in mystery. Rediscovered in the 1960's, it had been used for thousands of years by ancient peoples. Some claim, aliens used it as an underground base, while other say that's simply ridiculous. There are 8 levels in the 4.5km city and that is only what is known and has been excavated by archeologists. Today, only the first 3 levels are open to tourists and only about 2.5km's for viewing. It is possible to drive here by yourself if you rent or a car, or take any number of tour companies that offer trips from the nearest city which will by Goreme (about 1 hour drive). If you take the "Green tour" from Goreme, Derinkuyu will be your last or second to last stop of the day. There's a scam running in Prague for the past several years but not many people outside of the expats and locals seem to know about it. In this video I'll mention how the scam works and show you examples of what to avoid. Sometimes, when moving to Prague or even another country, it's easy to get overloaded and overwhelmed and make mistakes that cost you big money. Tour of Jerash - Best Preserved Roman City in the World

20:05
Filmed with Zhiyutn Tech Evolution Gimbal https://goo.gl/qSNqQb I took a 3 hour guided tour of Jerash which is located just north of Amman. It takes about 25 minutes by car to get there. I did not take a group tour but those options are available. The city itself is much larger than you first imagine. The history is rich between the transfer of power from for example Greek to Roman, though the history extends before those influences. The entrance fee was worth it and the guided tour cost me about 50 JD paid directly to the guide upon the end of the tour. The guide was great! His name is Nader, educated in Canada and well spoken, knowledgeable and a pleasant person to be around. His phone number 00962797795656. Please check the time in Jordan before calling him. Prepare to do a lot of walking, you can easily do 4-5 miles in the entire complex or just visit the hippodrome, the Roman center and the temple. It's up to you. The weather in December was about 70F all day in the sun. Bring water and sunblock, sunglasses and hat. You can also visit the ruins of a Templar castle 15 minutes away if you like that is situated on a big hill. More on that in a future video. Ss. Cyril and Methodism Cathedral (Operation Anthropoid)

02:05
From Wikipedia " The Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cathedral in the New Town of Prague, Czech Republic, is the principal church in the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia. The existing structure had its origins as a Roman Catholic church built between 1730 and 1736 by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer, dedicated to Charles Borromeo, archbishop and cardinal of Milan in the 16th century. In 1942, during World War II, the cathedral was the scene of the last stand of a number of Czech and Slovak patriots who, in Operation Anthropoid, had assassinated Reinhard Heydrich, the Nazi SS Obergruppenführer and General of Police. Karl Fischer von Treuenfeld was in command of the troops that stormed the church on 18 June 1942. After a fierce gun battle, they committed suicide to avoid capture.[ Presently there is a museum in the church crypt dedicated to them as national heroes. Petra - Tour of the Treasury, Royal Tombs and Hiking

16:00
Petra is one of the most unique sites in the world and in my top 5 archeological parks I have visited. The park is vast, 45 square km's of known structures dating back from Nabatean to Roman times. There is almost much undiscovered and still buried. For example, underneath the treasury, a tomb was discovered 7 meters underground. It is closed off to tourists with a big metal gate. You could easily spend 1 day or 2 days in the park and not see everything. Most people come in, visit the treasury, see some of the royal tombs then go home. People with more time or a second day, prefer to also visit the monastery and make a hike up to the place of the high sacrifice. The entrance fee to the park is 50 JD or roughly 70 USD. The top guide was an additional 50 JD. I opted for the guide. There are bathrooms in the main part of the park but no bathrooms once you start hiking up to the top of the mountains nearby. There are also several snack and tea, gift shops along the way but best to bring extra snacks and water with you. If you get tired, you can take a donkey or camel ride, but please take into account the animals welfare as they are treated as work animals and live roughly. Ancient Yhyakh (Ысыах) Festival in YAKUTIA / RUSSIA

In Yakutia there is an ancient festival that is held on the summer solstice usually on or around June 21-22-23. The festival started 1,000 years ago but during Communist times was forbidden. Tomb of Ti, West Saqqara

05:55
As part of my amazing Khemit School of Ancient Mysticism tour, day 2 we stopped off in Saqqara, to explore some tombs of nobility. The point was to see how much of daily life was documented in the artwork in the tombs and how no mention of cutting or moving large stones, or building large structures is ever shown. In this clip, Mohamed Ibrahim and Yousef Awyan, who are my guides and directors at the company, talk about the term "Pharaoh" and its meanings along with some other fascianting clues to the lost history of Egypt. I turned off the video camera at the very end as the local watcher asked me for money to video and I just wasn't sure of how the tipping worked at that particular time in my trip and being a little nervous, I shut it off. You can see photos of what lies in the actual tomb on wikipedia and other sources.

Prague Zoo - One of the Best in Europe

03:22
If you love animals, you should make a trip to Prague Zoo. It's an easy trip via public transportation and a 32kc (90) minute ticket per one way is all you need. Prague Zoo was opened in 1931 with the goal to "advance the study of zoology, protect wildlife, and educate the public" in the district of Troja in the north of Prague. In 2013, the zoo occupied 140 acres with 110 acres in use for exhibits, and housed around 4,200 animals from just under 650 species, including 132 species listed as threatened. Prague Zoo was rated as the seventh best zoo in the world by Forbes Travel Guide in 2007, and is rated as the fifth best in the world by TripAdvisor. How Much Money Does It Cost to Travel the World?

05:20
There are many videos on social media sites that show people who do amazing things and travel to places that seem to be financially impossible for most people, yet they claim that you can do the same for almost no money. In this video, I will explain to you why I think most of those bloggers, vloggers and "travel videos" put out by companies are B***S***. Of course, not everyone will agree with me and experiences are different. I in no way can ever make a definitive answer. This is just an opinion. I hope you enjoy this video and ultimately make the best of any trip you take!

Tour of Western Wall Tunnels and Megaliths

27:01
While in Jerusalem, I booked the Western Wall tunnels tour, the ticket price was around $9.00 The tour is definitely worth it because you get to see that the current street level is actually sitting on top of 60 or so feet above the actual ground level with previous structures underneath. Unfortunately my camera works poorly in low light, so sorry for the poor quality footage, also it was really dark in there. The tour can be claustrophobic for some, one of our tour members had to leave suddenly. I had no issues. You get to see some mysterious huge blocks, second largest in the world after Baalbek in Lebanon (being the largest block in the world). The entire tour was amazing and highly recommended. We took a day trip from RIGA to VILNIUS using the LUX EXPRESS bus. It was a very comfortable bus with music and tv's built into the headrest, unlimited hot drinks available as well. The seats recline quite far back and are very comfortable. Vilnius itself is not the large so it's quite easy to walk everywhere. Make sure to visit the Republic of Uzupis, it is an "independent republic" within the city, and not recognized internationally. 7 Wonders Bedouin Camp - Overnight

05:26
While I was touring Petra for two days, I stayed at 7 Wonders Bedouin camp just about 10 minutes drive from the visitors center of Petra archeological park. I had a really great time and I slept really well although it was very cold at night. Of course, December is slow season, so there weren't a lot of people, but that was fine. The guys that work there really looked out after us. They made sure we had fun at dinner, they played music every night and made sure the tea was flowing non stop. The camp itself is really great and best of all - HOT SHOWERS. The bathroom and showers were really nice and toilets western style. The cost of the camp is on they website (please check in case it has changed since the time of this post). 25 JD a night gets you room only. Bed and breakfast is 35 JD. Dinner is an additional 10 JD per meal/per night. I made sure to get both breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Petra. If you end up at the visitor center of Petra, any taxi will take you there. Cost is 5 JD flat one way. No need to pay more. http://www.sevenwondersbedouincamp.com

There was no one else there besides us the day we went which was great. Entrance fee was minimal and definitely worth 2-3 hours or more.

RIGA & JURMALA BEACH - BALTIC HEAVEN / LATVIA

I visited Riga and Jurmala for the first time and I must say I fell in love with both places. I really enjoyed our 4 days trip here. We stayed in Jurmala, right next to the beach and took the 35 minute train to visit Riga. I felt both places were pretty cheap and we definitely splurged on a few meals, even eating lobster from a fancy seafood restaurant and the final price for 2 people was only 50 Euros! It's very easy to communicate in Latvia if you speak Russian and English is spoken in all the tourist areas but I suspect not so much in small more rural towns. The historical part of Dresden is very walkable and being near the Elbe river is great. Make sure to grab a beer at a beer garden along with some sausages. I suggest the currywurst (I may have spelled that wrong). https://www.studentagency.eu/en/ http://www.eurolines.com/en/ Music Dj Quads https://soundcloud.com/aka-dj-quads Song 'Wonderful World' and 'I Be Good'

While in Yakutsk, I asked to find a person who could play this instrument for me. I met Lugita and she played an original song for me, one that she created herself. I was mesmerized by this awesome instrument. A big thank you to Lugita for allowing me to film her and put it on the internet for the whole world to see! Lena Pillars UNESCO World Heritage Site / YAKUTIA

05:25
Lena Pillars are located on the banks fo the Lena River about 3 hours journey from Yakutsk city (car). The pillars are a protected site under the UNESCO World Heritage. They are considered an outstanding natural formation and being my first time there it was awesome. Especially to appreciate it from a boat, it was really something. There are cruise ships that go there when the weather allows and even small planes that do fly overs. Any tourist agency can help. Karlstejn Castle, Czech Republic

06:51
Took a day trip to Karlstejn Castle. It's 40 mins- 1 hour from Prague train station, Hlavni Nadrazi. Tickets cost 90CZK each way so 180CZK round trip. The train is comfortable with air conditioning. You can even take a bicycle for additional charge. There's about 1 25 minute walk from the train station to the base of the castle. We walked really slow and weren't counting time. There's other activities in the area, camping, biking, and rafting. We didn't do any of those. All in all a good, easy trip and worth it due to distance form Prague.

Emperor Charles IV Parade in Prague with Fighting Knights

04:42
Yesterday in Prague, we celebrated the 700th anniversary of Charles the 4th reign. This is large event starting from Prague Castle and ending up in old town square. It's unique to see an entire procession of a few hundred people dressed up in clothing from that time period. Charles IV (1316 – 1378), King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor, stands among the most exceptional personages of Czech and European history. Charles IV was an ambitious sovereign, shrewd politician, and urbanistic visionary. Throughout 2016, the year of his 700th birth anniversary, there will be a wide array of commemorative events ranging from exhibitions to historical-themed festivities, conferences, celebrations and special programmes for visitors such as themed tours and walks. This microsite was created to provide information about these programmes, as well as a brief introduction to Charles IV himself. The 700th anniversary of Charles IV‘s birth is a great reason to learn more about this king and emperor, as well as the city he made his home and loved above all others, Prague. Source: http://www.karlovapraha.cz/en from Wikipedia: Charles IV (Czech: Karel IV., German: Karl IV., Latin: Carolus IV; 14 May 1316 – 29 November 1378[1]), born Wenceslaus,[2] was a King of Bohemia and the first King of Bohemia to also become Holy Roman Emperor. He was a member of the House of Luxembourg from his father's side and the House of Přemyslid from his mother's side, which he emphasised, because it made him have two saints as direct ancestors. He was the eldest son and heir of King John of Bohemia, who died at the Battle of Crécy on 26 August 1346. Charles inherited the County of Luxembourg from his father and was elected the king of the Kingdom of Bohemia. On 2 September 1347, Charles was crowned King of Bohemia. On 11 July 1346, prince-elector selected him King of the Romans (rex Romanorum) in opposition to Emperor Louis IV. Charles was crowned on 26 November 1346 in Bonn. After his opponent died, he was re-elected in 1349 and crowned King of the Romans. In 1355 he was crowned King of Italy and Holy Roman Emperor. With his coronation as King of Burgundy in 1365, he became the personal ruler of all the kingdoms of the Holy Roman Empire. Burano, Murano, Torcello 3 Island Tour

10:45
We made a full day of exploring the 3 islands in the Venetian lagoon near Venice. First, we bought an un limited water bus day pass for 20 euro per person. This allowed us to use the water buses free all day long as many times as we wanted. Otherwise yo have to pay 7.5 euro per one way, per person. Of the 3 islands, Murano is the busiest, Murano second and Torcello is the quietest and smallest. The water bus (boats) run fairly often and get crowded so make sure to appropriately time your journey if you are short on time or take your time and simply explore. Don't confuse the water bus with the water taxi. Water taxi are in fact, a taxi service and cost a lot more. Most people go straight to Murano as it is a shorter ride and spend about an hour enjoying the glass shops that are famous for their "Murano glass." Next, it's easy to visit Burano as it is s short journey by water bus and that is where you find all the colorful houses. I suggest to simply get lost and enjoy the colorful houses. Lastly, Torcello, the smallest island is just a short boat ride away and is the quietest and smallest of the three. You need only 1 hour or less to explore. You can take the water bus directly back to several major stops in Venice including San Marco Square and Piazzale Roma. You'll catch the airport transfer from Piazzale Roma. You can also store luggage at the central train station in Venice island. Roman Theatre in Amman

03:33
My first day in Amman, Jordan, I went to the Roman theatre. Luckily at 8am, I was the only person there and could really appreciate the amazing acoustics. The theatre could seat 6,000 people and today is still used as a music venue. The fee is very small, I think less than $5.00 USD You can take a taxi there, everyones knows it, just say "Roman theatre" **Sorry for reposting, I had to change the music per copyrights. Bucharest Travel Guide + Dracula's Castle

08:33
I went to Bucharest for 3 ays for a business trip and tried to see as much as possible while I was there. Firstly, we walked around Old Town, which is very small compared to Old Towns in Prague, Warsaw, etc. Old Town is pretty quiet during the day, mostly restaurants and cafes but at night time becomes quite lively. On one particular street, the music is bumping. As for traditional food, make sure to eat the cabbage leaves stuffed with pork. It's delicious. I think that is the most traditional food that people recommended to me. We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel and its proximity to Old Town was a key factor for choosing it. All in, 3 full days seemed perfect to explore this city. On my last day before flying home, we took a 3 hour journey though the mountains to visit Bran Castle, the home of the real "Dracula" Vlad Tepes. For me growing up, he was Dracula, but for locals he is considered a folk hero, an actual historical figure who did some abnormal things that were required of the time period. That being said, the castle was closed because we arrived too early, but we got some nice photos of the rounds. A return visit will be planned in the near future. Overall a great trip, I wouldn't say a terribly expensive country. A meal in the touristy part of town, and very nice at that, cost us $50 or so. Not bad for 3 appetizers, 2 mains, 1 beer, 1 tea, 1 coffee, and 2 deserts. Alright fans, until the next adventure. Franz Kafka Rotating Sculpture PRAGUE

02:06
If you like my videos, click Subscribe. Located in a busy shopping center in Prague, this twisting and reflective sculpture depicting the head of writer Franz Kafka is the latest kinetic artwork by controversial Czech artist David Cerny. Installed in 2014, the enormous mirrored bust is comprised of 42 independently driven layers of stainless steel and weighs in at some 45 tons. The piece brilliantly reveals Kafka’s tortured personality and unrelenting self doubt that plagued him his entire life. The layering of objects is a common motif for Cerny who built a similar rotating head that also functions as a fountain titled Metalmorphosis. source https://goo.gl/qgQECp The address is: Otočná hlava Franze Kafky Spálená 22, 110 00 Praha 1 Music by Jenaux - Get It On Mr Slightly Fly - Free Royalty Music https://goo.gl/SAJpKA Everest Base Camp Trek - City to EBC Full Trek

26:06
I hiked to Everest Base Camp from Dec 17-27th, 2017. It was the experience of a lifetime and also one of the hardest things I've ever done. The total trip was $1,450 for guide, housing, 3 meals a day. I needed to pay extra for my own daily expenses which equalled about $200 USD equivalent in Rupees for the entire trip. Water ended up costing a lot of money as I only drank bottled. The trek took 10 days from start to finish, but the 10th day was actually only the return flight back to Kathmandu. So really it was 9 trekking days. Most people prefer to do 13 or 15,16 day tours, I wanted a shorter time. I also skipped 1 extra acclimatization day. The journey is tough, but all kinds of people can made it. A lot also quit or got sick with altitude sickness. It only affects 1 in 100 people, I was told, so hopefully you are not that person. How to Train for Everest Base Camp Trek / Subscriber Request

I've received a few messages from my subscribers asking how to train for EBC trek. Let me just say this is not the only method or the best method, this is just what I recommend. I think building muscle memory is key to succeeding in completing the trek. Hiking 9-14 days depending on your plan is very difficult in altitude with even a small day pack so best be prepared.
